I always draw mostly pencil or pen. But it’s always so black and white. So I’m trying this new painting thing. The plan is to have a colorful background then draw on top of it. Just grab the paintbrush and have a go at it. I put the music on and just let the melody take over my hand. I like not knowing not having a plan just be completely free to see what I come up with. Great stress reliever. THE MEANING: passion, desire, fire, and just a girl burning in it.

Well it’s 3:25 am and you know how it is at this time. All you can do is toss and turn. Think about everything and everyone. How nice it is when they say “live a life of no regrets” or “take a chance” or the ever so difficult “don’t look back” If something excites you then keep doing it. If you feel that it’s slipping away and that it’s worth it then fight for it. But and here is the big but, When does the dream actually die? When does our Perseverance actually turn into stubbornness? When will we know better that pain with and pain without that person is still pain? All of those questions I want answers to don’t seem to matter because I just had a flashback. A flashback of a time where I wanted to say something at what it seems now was the right time at the right place with the right person. Yet I held back. Just some late night thoughts. Thoughts I tell you, thoughts. Now I’ll beat myself with this; twist and turn it until I fall asleep. Hopefully when I wake up and see him again I’ll be able to turn these thoughts into spoken words.

I get it when people say “You don’t need that stuff” “You’re pretty regardless” “Makeup is stupid and for fake people” and that’s their opinion but stop it I’m a girl and I love makeup, I love doing makeup, I like wearing makeup, I like shopping for makeup, and if I could I would fuck makeup… it would make my vagina all pretty and shimmery!  Yes makeup can boost confidence in girls. Which is cool, if homegirl needs a bit of a boost then let her. Quit trying to hate on someone who at least is trying to be confident. The worst thing to do is not try! At the end of the day you can wear all the makeup you want and be Barbie but after people get to know you they will be able to tell who you really are! Whether its a good thing or a bad thing. So makeup can only get you so far. It’s what’s inside that really matters. Yes I do my usual glamourous makeup look where I want to channel Marilyn Monroe or anybody who is sexy, beautiful, womanly, seductive, and whatever. Hey I’m a girl its what I do. But I also wear makeup to express myself. I like to wear funky bright colors, use glitter and shimmer, put on false lashes, and do bold crazy looks.  It reflects who I am… I’M A COLORFUL PERSON! Just like how I wear an outfit or dye my hair its a representation of who I am, what I do, and how I feel. Also makeup is a form of artistry yes I said it artistry. Not everybody can do makeup trust me I see people with fucked up eyeshadow blending or bad foundation color!  So no I don’t agree in the statement above saying I need makeup to cover up cause I’m not good enough! I am good enough. I’m good enough to be creative in picking colors and to blend them flawlessly in order to let people know who I am. Because I’m not covering up in the contratry I am just bringing my bright, colorful, artistic, fun personality out for everyone to see!
