I always draw mostly pencil or pen. But it’s always so black and white. So I’m trying this new painting thing. The plan is to have a colorful background then draw on top of it. Just grab the paintbrush and have a go at it. I put the music on and just let the melody take over my hand. I like not knowing not having a plan just be completely free to see what I come up with. Great stress reliever. THE MEANING: passion, desire, fire, and just a girl burning in it.

that will be me this summer! No joke. I have planned for me to paint myself nude while being nude. Look if you’ve never been to Houston you don’t understand this heat. today was 100 degrees and that’s not even hot yet… wait till we get to the hottest months July and August!!!!! The rest of the week will be around the 90s ugh seriously I need to move to the North Pole!

Well it’s 3:25 am and you know how it is at this time. All you can do is toss and turn. Think about everything and everyone. How nice it is when they say “live a life of no regrets” or “take a chance” or the ever so difficult “don’t look back” If something excites you then keep doing it. If you feel that it’s slipping away and that it’s worth it then fight for it. But and here is the big but, When does the dream actually die? When does our Perseverance actually turn into stubbornness? When will we know better that pain with and pain without that person is still pain? All of those questions I want answers to don’t seem to matter because I just had a flashback. A flashback of a time where I wanted to say something at what it seems now was the right time at the right place with the right person. Yet I held back. Just some late night thoughts. Thoughts I tell you, thoughts. Now I’ll beat myself with this; twist and turn it until I fall asleep. Hopefully when I wake up and see him again I’ll be able to turn these thoughts into spoken words.

This summer for reals I will start painting… myself in the nude. Something like this (click) Which means I need to buy more paint brushes!!!! They are so expensive that not even my art school discount is enough!!!!! This past Saturday going to the museum was so inspiring. (my adventure) Seeing this work of art by Simon Vouet Saint Sebastian. Of course I will never be that good but I can try

I said I was going to start doing self portraits of myself in the nude and I haven’t yet. The good thing is that summer is coming and here in Houston that weather sucks! So bad I want to be naked all the time. So I’ll use that excuse to walk around in my birthday suit sitting in front of the mirror while I paint myself!!!!! Killing 2 birds with the same stroke of a brush!
